John Scarland

John came to painting as an adult and has had no formal training.  He paints and draws naturally, with his work imparting a quiet strength rather than startling or shocking.  One of his most recent themes has been the traditions and mysteries embodied by the bride.

 John’s work was awarded the 1994 Daler Prize at the Royal Watercolour Society.  He is an inspirational painter whose spontaneous ideas flow easily. 

We are pleased that John has appointed us his agent for a selection of prints as limited editions of 50 only, all signed, titled and numbered by the artist.
